The story of luxury has been told for so long that we have almost forgotten how a product should truly be judged.

A century ago, the finest leather goods came from a handful of places in Europe—Florence, Ubrique, and a few streets on the outskirts of Paris.
These places did not produce better hides, nor were their climates more suited to tanning. What they truly possessed was an unbroken tradition: an apprentice learning beside a master for ten or twenty years, passing down by hand the skills of cutting, stitching, skiving, and burnishing—skills that could never be fully captured in a manual.
A century later, “Made in Europe” has never truly been about geography. It has always been about that tradition.
Over the past thirty years, this tradition has traveled beyond Europe. Many of the world’s most renowned brands have entrusted an increasing number of their processes to a select group of workshops in Asia.
This is no longer a fact that needs to be concealed. Within these workshops, a new generation of artisans has emerged—practicing the same techniques and fulfilling the very same orders.
Today, ARFORTI pieces are made in these workshops.
