Every ARFORTI is made expressly for you. Our returns standard is therefore built to be absolutely fair to every client, while protecting the integrity of every piece that leaves the atelier. What follows is that standard in its entirety — no hidden clauses, nothing left to guesswork.
Within 24 hours of order confirmation, write to your advisor for a full, free cancellation — at this point the atelier has not yet cut your hide. Beyond 24 hours, your piece formally enters an irreversible production schedule and can no longer be cancelled; once it is delivered, you may of course still return it under this policy.
Any eligible piece may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery (as determined by the carrier's delivery record). Our requirement is simple: the piece must remain in the original state in which it left the atelier. Specifically:

A return begins online: contact us via the Advisor button at the top right of any page, or by email, with your order number and reason; we typically reply within one business day. For US orders, a prepaid return label will be attached to our reply — simply affix it and send. For clients outside the US, we will provide the atelier's return address; please choose a tracked and insured international courier, with return shipping at your own cost.
Once the parcel reaches the atelier, rigorous inspection and the refund are typically completed within 5–10 business days. Whether a return meets the conditions above is determined strictly by the atelier's final inspection: should a piece fall short of the standard (signs of use, missing protective film, missing original packaging), we will write to you first, then return the piece to you as it arrived; no refund can be issued. Further, should a returned item be verified as not of ARFORTI's making, we will refuse both refund and return of the item, and reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility. And so that this policy may serve every client fairly for the long term, we reserve the right to further verify — and, where necessary, decline — patterns of unusual or repeated returns.
For returns that pass inspection, two unhurried options:
To change colour or style, the path is simple: return the original piece, and place a new order for the one you love. The two lines never wait for each other — the new order enters production the moment it is confirmed, while the returned piece follows the inspection and refund flow above. If you would like your refund to fund the new order, account credit is the optimal path: it arrives the moment inspection clears, joining seamlessly to your new order.
Every piece is inspected item by item before leaving the atelier. If a flaw nevertheless slips through, that is our failing — and not yours to bear in any measure. Should you find a craftsmanship defect within 30 days of delivery, photograph it at once and write to your advisor. Once the piece is safely returned to the atelier, shipping both ways is borne entirely by us, and you may freely choose a full refund, or a free remake by the atelier (a full refund where the style's materials are exhausted). Craftsmanship issues that surface beyond 30 days pass automatically into our Craftsmanship Warranty. *The fee and shipping deductions described above never apply to any quality-related return.
